• Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit versions)*

• Intel Core i5 or higher processor

• 8 GB RAM or greater

• 2 GB Hard Drive space or greater**

• Monitor resolution of 1600 x 900***

• Software: 

• Gen5 2.09: Gen5 Image+, Gen5 Secure Image+ or Gen5 IVD Image+

• Microsoft Internet Explorer v 9.0 or later (for online Help)

• Microsoft Excel 2007 or later for QuickExport and PowerExport (32-bit versions only)

• Keyboard/mouse

• Connectivity (Cytation s/n 151222xx and higher)

  • USB 3.0 port required for camera connection*

  • USB 2.0 or 3.0 port required for instrument connection

*64-bit OS is required for the USB 3.0 camera.
**Each image is approximately 2MB in size. Image file management is the responsibility of the user
***Gen5 is not designed for use on very high resolution monitors, e.g. 4K or 5K monitors

• Serial or USB 2.0 or 3.0 port for BioTek instrument connection

• USB port for software installation
